Tia's descendant? Interesting.... Hopefully she doesn't have as sad an ending as Tia.

Are you guys using any existing Lufia characters or places? Personally, though your game takes place after Lufia 2, I'd love to see Tia make a comeback.

I'd say that we all want to play it. Hopefully it catches some attention. Lufia does not get enough credit, it's the best RPG series ever if you ask me, and it's nice to see someone take charge and keep the series alive, which is why I'd like to do anything to help this project. Dekar the great and ...

Sounds like a pretty cool concept. I have ideas for a lufia story, but no rpg maker. Would it be possible to seek involvement?

Good good movie, but the game is still the real pride of the franchise. Squaresoft HAD to have been playing a Lufia game when they came up with it ( I would say that FF7 may have been the best RPG ever, but I'd still play Lufia any day).

You'd think that playing Lufia I first would take the edge off of the second's ending, but the fact that there was more to it than what Lufia I portrayed is what really brought it home. Maxim litterally gave his life for the entire world. Selan had already died at that point, and it seemed as though...

True, Jeros may not have been able to directly pinpoint that he felt Erim's power, but Maxim and Selan both could sense energy waves, good or bad, in other life forms, so Jeros would have been able to as well.

Wow, pretty in-depth, there. However, I found those codes already, and they wouldn't work. Yet again, the whole providence thing helps out alot, but I'm not ready for the 20th floor yet, I just started playing like yesterday. Thanks alot.(Note: not a sarcastic thank you)

The best bet is PAR or game genie. I get all of my codes from gamewinners, and they all work, except the "unlock retry/gift mode". Make sure you're entering the correct code into the correct format. To those using emulators, I don't think they support GameShark. Hope this helps a little. EDIT: Do no...

Ahh, confusion. Believe me, weight effects speed in battle. A good way to test this is with the (currently) strongest monsters, and a light and heavy weapon. Fight with the lighter weapon, then the heavier one. I believe I'm right, but if I happen to be wrong, I happily accept criticizm....just don'...

Good point. Had Jeros been in Lufia I, he would be really old. It leads me to believe that maybe Hero is Jeros' grandson, which would explain his relation to Maxim, and Jeros could have passed away before Hero had started his quest. Jeros' appearance would have been cool, though. He probably would h...

Too many posts on one simple topic, eh? Now, I love the style of traditional RPG's, but I would like to see an action/rpg version of Lufia. You'd agree with me if you've ever played Castlevania - Symphony of the Night, or Aria of Sorrow. I happen to enjoy all of the training a regular turn-based rpg...

With all due respect to Maxim, FoD's hero was my favorite. And, who knows, it could be Jeros. After all, Guy lived another 99 years after traveling with Maxim....
