Could be anything- a door that opens when all the enemies in this room are killed, for example; easiest way I can think of to do this is to increment a global variable each time an enemy is created, and decrement it once you kill it. On zero, open the door :) But it is but an example; I want to giv...

Exactly- the class would make it very easy to serialize it all into a file, be it XML, or whatever :) I think I'm keeping the list global for the entire game, with some distinction to indicate if pairs belong to the same map or not (like the ID I mentioned). You could argue that a lot of the variab...

Hey Tony, What you're describing is basically what you already need when you choose to save a game. A file containing all of the variables and their status. As for the block falling through you have a choice of 2 things. You can either have the block on both maps, with one of them being visible at a...

That's probably the smartest course of action indeed. Aside from the legal issues, it also makes way for an entirely new universum, 100% breathing room for a story... but it has to make it on its own now, rather than by the name :) Tony Well, I do have some good news. Those are the reasons why I ma...

Hey Tony,

I know all the issues with fan games and that's why my RPG will be lufia like but not a lufia sequel. It's a decision that you need to make with its pros and cons.

I don't think you need to make a new song. I'd keep it the same until the 1:05 minute mark. Starting from there I'd make it different for a bit, and then have it come back to the ending of your song which would allow it to loop since it seems like you want a looping song. I find that it starts off g...

I like it, but I find it's bit repetitive. If you plan on using 30-60 seconds of it i think it'd be great. If you plan on having it playing longer, you might want to change it up a bit.

anyways, it's just my suggestion - it's certainly better than no music at all!!
