Re: Lufia: Curse of the Dead Battery.

This is the thing though. It is known that the battery used inside console game cart like the NES and SNES are more powerful than those used inside portable game cart like the GB/GBC/GBA. So many times, the battery of a GBA games may die before a NES battery...yes this is weird...

Re: What are you playing now?

Obviously, I'm playing Lufia games...but other than that, I just finished replaying Mugen Senshi Valis (the PC-Engine CD version, which is the best version) after having downloading it on the Japanese PSN. I also started a game of Alundra, and I don't know why I didnt played this game before because...

Another exemple is the release poster which can be found on Yahoo Auction Japan for only 100 Yen (1$)...that is, if you have a way to buy from there

Re: Pictures of my Lufia purchases

For the new DS OST, what is a good price for you, I bought it on ebay for a high price (50$), which is unfortunately a standard price for import game OST on ebay. Except if you can buy it on japanese site like Yahoo Auction Japan, don't expect finding it below 30$ anytime soon (or never for that mat...

Re: Pictures of my Lufia purchases

And the items continue to keep coming.... Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistral (still a save on it, so the battery seems to be ok) http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b237/xellos667/Lufia/Lufia2SNES.jpg The Soundtrack for the first 3 games (so great to have a soundtrack for the GBC game, and I love the las...

Re: Lufia: Curse of the Dead Battery.

It seems really godly. I never heard of that before (granted I'm not searching a lot on the "un-official" scene). Maybe it would be a good move to buy one...though the problem still remain for the Gameboy games :(

Re: Lufia: Curse of the Dead Battery.

I wish flash memory would have been more affordable back then like it is now. But out of curiosity. What is this copybox you're talking about?

Lufia: Curse of the Dead Battery.

While doing my Lufia marathon, starting with the first Lufia on SNES, I started to remember why I have difficulties playing retro-RPG on their original console...the overgrowing fear of waking up one morning and see our progress all wiped out from the cart because of a case of dead battery inside. I...

Really? I never thought it existed. If you ever saw something online, send me a link, I'll see what I can do :) Speaking of purchases, finally, some items have begun to arrive at my place (took a while). Re: A question for Lufia fan about the meaning of Estpolis?

I didnt thought that such a simple question could mean so much confusion about the meaning. Thanks to your "freak" attitude, we have more details from the creator himself. All this reading about the meaning of Estpolis made me love the series even more, to discover the mysteries behind it ...

Re: Should Lufia continue with Curse of the Sinistrals appro

Problem is: What is the essence of PSO Ep.1&2? Grinding and loot finding. The story is quickly done, and you need to repeat it 4 times for each episode. This is really pathetic when Phantasy Star was really about a massic epic storyline. But anyway, I think you get my point. Maybe I was really t...

Re: A question for Lufia fan about the meaning of Estpolis?

mmmmk, I see. Well for Final Fantasy, I like those games (not my favorite series, but still ok), but indeed all the melodrama can become really tedious, and not one character looking really like your everyday joe. As for Metroid, the series had a problem ever since Samus started to talk way back wit...
