Bush!!

Postby Chris » Fri Nov 05, 2004 3:40 pm

Slightly old news, but hey! ;)

Another four years of George W. Bush over in America! I wasn't really that bothered who would win (living in the UK)... but it would be interesting to know what you all think.

In my opinion, as someone in Canada...Bush is a moron...
To be honest I didn't see much difference in Bush and Kerry, except Kerry hasn't said anything nearly as stupid as bush.

I voted for bush. I think hes a good guy.

I am a senior citizen.

During the Clinton Administration I had an extremely good and well paying
job.

I took numerous vacations and had several vacation homes.

Since President Bush took office, I have watched my entire life change for
the worse.

I lost my job.

I lost my two sons in that terrible Iraqi War.

I lost my homes.

I lost my health insurance.

As a matter of fact I lost virtually everything and became homeless.

Adding insult to injury, when the authorities found me living like an
animal, instead of helping me, they arrested me.

I will do anything that Senator Kerry wants to insure that a Democrat is
back in the White House come next year.

Bush has to go.

Sincerely,

Saddam Hussein

Bush: I have a plan for everything that I will put into action, later...after the election is over.

I'm not saying that I totally agree w/ Bush, but Kerry didn't really have any idea of what can & can't be done as President (I'd bet 1/2 the stuff he said wouldn't be done), IMO.

Bush has done some wrong things, but I see it as the lesser of two evils. Who do you want in charge, someone who has an idea of what they are doing (Bush), or someone who dosen't (Kerry).

Not that that matters anymore, since the election's over.

(BTW, make sure to not let this topic get out of hand, or it's locked)

It wouldn't be so bad if Bush were...smarter...or at least spoke like someone smarter.
My friend has an entire poster devoted to all the non-sensical and stupid stuff he's said, quite hilarious to read.

I still cannot believe that Bush had won Kerry by a measly 0.65% of the total votes!!!

Is this some sort of conspiracy?

Seeing that there was also a close margin in the election before, and the botched Florida ballots then, it must be!

Bush: leader or

Postby WindChildFuko » Tue Nov 30, 2004 4:40 am

I think Bush is a fool (I'm not insulting him, I actually think he is illiterate). This would be fine with me, but I'm not thrilled with the fact that a cowboy is running our nation. I know a few of the things he's done that wouldnt exactly thrill the public. See Farenheit 911. I'll let the facts speak for themselves.

And you actually belive the lies/garbage that he says? Anything he says is misconstrued to his own opinion. For that matter, all of those "facts" are actually opinions, IMO.

He just wants to show his opinion, not facts.

Clearly, Alexia, you have never seen the movie. Some of it is opinion, but it is mostly all real facts from respected sources. He also uses several clips of Bush. Rip Michael Moore or me as much as you like, but get your facts straight first.

I'm not going against you personally, but against the use of Moore as a justifiable source. What were his "reputable sources" in the movie? Even if real Bush clips were used, couldn't they be combined w/ opinion, or some form of it, to persuade the audience, or could he just not tell the actual reason of why it actually happened (may have been caused by a totally different purpose). Or maybe another event led to the scene in the movie, but he just plainly left that out, starting w/ the effect (cause & effect).

Yes, I have not watched the movie, but I know what kind of work/ideas he has, so I have a decent idea of what ideas he would portray in a "documentary" movie.

Although none of topic really matters, since Bush is the President for 4 more terms, and cannot be reelected in the next election.

This post is not meant/created as a flame topic, so if it should turn to it, this topic will be locked and/or split (probably the latter).
