We Now Have PHPBB2.0.8a!

Postby Chris » Wed Apr 07, 2004 10:01 pm

I've just finished upgrading our forum to version 2.0.8a. You probably won't notice anything different (I haven't yet), but it means a number of security flaws have been patched up.

If you come across any page of the forum with error messages on, please post about them in the Official Bugs and Features thread. There could be a couple of bugs since I had to upgrade the forum alongside all these mods! :D

Really? Then how did you add in all those modifications back so fast? o.O

'Cause upgrading erases the whole thing...

If upgrading erases everything, then how come all the posts, topics, members, etc... are still here? :P

phpBBHacks.com supply tutorials that give you step-by-step instructions on how to update the files to different versions of phpBB2. In other words, I didn't upload new files - I just altered my current ones (so I didn't have to install the mods again).

You'll know what I mean if you look here: http://www.phpbbhacks.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=34
