its really hard balancing 2 hobbies when one is yugioh. for instance i skateboard, but i also play yugioh, but i have had so much trouble with finding time for both, so i just rotate and skateboard one day then play yugioh the next.

Easier

Postby Rob Van Dam » Sat Apr 17, 2004 8:47 pm

My mates collect these.

I dont think there that good because when i see my mates play the game with cards its confusing.

Pokemon is well better than this card game.
Its easier.

pokemon? trust me there is no way what so ever that pokemon is on the same level as yugioh. as i remember pokemon's reign only lasted 1 1/2 years, but yugioh on the other hand has been reigning on top for 2 1/2 years and still going strong.

Well that might be true but pokemon is just as stratgic as yugioh, I prefer yugioh though.

I've heard about that... Yu-Gi-Oh is still pretty dominant though.

But just wait till a new card game comes up then.

Since pokemon is over & yu-gi-oh is in there will be a new one then some peopl will buy that & you will then have wasted all your money buying yu-gi-oh cards when instead you could get a game!

From what I can remember about Duel Masters, it's kinda like Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh rolled into one game.

WoTC (Wizards of the Coast, the makers of MtG & previously Pokemon) brought it over from Japan about a month or two ago.

I haven't played it yet, but a friend of mine started to play it, and they like it so far.

I have finally got to see Duel Master, I think it looks like a good show, Someone told me that they had planed to realease Duel Masters before Yu-Gi-Oh but, it never managed to come out in time.

From what I've heard about Yu-Gi-Oh, you basically only need to play a few cards, and auto-win.

And supposedly most of the cards released are of no use whatsoever in tourneys, etc.
