[BHD] Billy Hatcher... Glover?

Postby Chris » Tue Jul 22, 2003 10:19 pm

[Topic Converted From: http://www.forumplanet.com/planetninten ... id=1109401 ]

I don't know if any of you have noticed, but doesn't the concept behind Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg seem similar to the concept behind Glover for the N64, PSX and PC?

In Glover, you controlled a glove called Glover (?!) - which solved puzzles and defeated enemies with a magical ball. I know Glover's ball can't be fed magical fruit like Billy's eggs can... but the concepts do seem a little similar.

So as an extra I am working on a Glover section for BHD. There isn't anything else I can add to the Billy Hatcher pages until more news / media is released. But if you've read the news on the site, I have contacted Sega to see if I can arrange exclusive Billy Hatcher things with them!

Why not? I haven't seen any other Billy Hatcher fan sites out there, and I'd think they'd like a little publicity for their game, so we could help with that.

Wow.... at first I trotaly dissmissed Billy Hatcher. I'm not entirly fond of the idea of a game staring a chicken. But, hearing that it'll be similar to Glover, I may have to give it a try.

I laughed when I saw the first screenshots of Billy Hatcher... but then I realised after seeing E3 coverage of it that it could be something special.

What could possibly be comical about a small boy in a chicken suit...?

It's about time Sonic Team made an original game (i.e. not another Sonic port).

Speaking of which... still no reply from Sega. I might try e-mailing them again.
