Favourite Pokemon Game

Postby Phil » Wed Feb 25, 2004 5:38 pm

What is your favourite out of the Pokemon Series?

I have to go with Sapphire because that is the one I have and it's brilliant - but gets a bit boring when you get to Veridian Forest..

Pokemon Gold was my favourite... a lot of ideas in Gold were missed out on the GBA games... probably because of time problems.

It would be great if they created a game that had all the pokemon in it ever created starting from charmander to torchic!

the one thing i did not like is the fact that you could never ( except yellow) have all three starting monster which does seem slightly anoying epscialy if you cant decide between charmander and squirete. and i hate the fact that starting monsters seem to disaper for ever in the sequals its just not right!!!

I managed to get 150 Pokemon (all except Mew) on Red and Blue. I had to do lots of trading with Phil to get the starting three Pokemon... it was a pain!

Rare Candy Cheat!

Postby Chris » Fri Mar 12, 2004 6:26 pm

That glitch that allowed you to get 100 rare candy ruined Red and Blue. I don't know if the glitch was in Yellow too though.

lol... I let my friend gameshark my red version to get me a Mew, then I let him GS my silver versio nto get me a Celebi.

I'm going to have to go with Ruby/Sapphire, mainly because it sticks out from the rest and starts to take a turn towards the traditional RPG series. I'm pretty much done with pokemon, but I still play this game like any other game.

Alas, Veridian Forest isn't even in Sapphire version. You sure you don't mean Petalburg Forest?

Ruby and Sapphire were great games... there were just a couple of parts where nobody told you where to go next!
