RollerCoaster Tycoon 2

Postby Chris » Fri Jun 04, 2004 4:26 pm

I just got this game, and was pretty surprised at something. RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 is very similar to the original game. Has anybody else played the game and noticed this? Do many differences appear later on in the game?

...Or am I the only one who's played the game?

Man, I want this game, but my computer is in a crummy shape and I don't wanna run something that I don't think will run on it.

I have the original, though, and I love it.

I'm sure RCT2 will run on your PC... the graphics are pretty similar to the original's.

This game is addictive... I'm really terrible at making roller coasters though!

My computer could run it if it was still in perfect condition. I found it for 30 bucks at EB games, though. If it's still there next time I check, I might consider getting it.

BTW: Have you seen the screenshots for RCT3 yet? They're JAW-DROPPING

Some media and previews: http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/rollercoaster-tycoon-3/

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 looks jaw-droppingly good! :)

I'm hoping that they won't drop gameplay for graphics...

I think on my first park in RCT, I have something like three million dollars. FUnny thing was that when I completed that park's scenario I had a negative company value. (The only time I did that)

I remember that happening to Phil for some reason. Did you take out a large bank loan or something? ;)

Normally the first thing I do when I start a new game is I max out my bank loan, and then as I progress and start making money I start paying it off.
