Chronology of the Lufia Series

Postby Kyinnca » Wed Sep 01, 2004 8:06 pm

Hi! I played all four Lufia games, and I think about something. We almost know all that Lufia 2 prequels Lufia 1 and Lufia 3 follows Lufia 1. But what about Lufia 4? On Rpgamer, I saw that Lufia 4 is in the far future, but I saw some things that doesn't belong to the future of Lufia. For example, Dekar, one of the heroes of Lufia 2 is also in Lufia 4. Humans have a short life, and it's impossible that humans can live for centuries. So, I think that Lufia 4 is situated between Lufia 2 and Lufia 1 (Approximatively 50 years after the first Doom Island War). What do you think?
My goal is to become a master gamer when I'll complete 1.000 games.

You're correct. The series chronologically starts with Lufia II, then IV, followed by I and III.

Only Lufia IV is 20 years after II, right?

Last time I herad it was 15, so I'm guessing somewhere between 15-20. I wish there was a better reference to where exactly it stood in the storyline, because as far as we know it could even be 5 years before the Second Battle of Doom Island.

Well, if Guy lived 100 years after the BAttle of Doom Island, who said Dekar can't?

Then again, if it was that late, Dekar would probably be hella week. (His MaxHP already took a dive as it is. lol)

I only played part 1 and 2, but just reading all the information about the other lufia games is confusing. here in germany it is even more complicated, because they only released part 2 and called it just "Lufia". @_@

They released Lufia2 as Lufia in Europe (and in Australia too, I believe). And Lufia TLR is released in Germany too.

They released TRL in germany??? I guess you are from Europe, huh? Holland, right? ;o)
I guess I didn't know of the release, because it is for Game boy advanced or something?!
I don't have the money for such expensive little boxes, but I am a bit jealus, because two of my friends have this game boy, and it looks soooo nice! ;_;'

TLR was for GBC. I'm not sure if it was released in Europe or not; I think it was though.

Only games that were not released in Europe were Lufia and the Fortress of Doom, and ROL

(And Europe's Lufia I is our Lufia II)
