Taito and Natsume, I think.

*revives topic*

- The Sinistrals should use Doom Island more than they did in Lufia TLR. I really missed Doom Island.

- more stuff about the Dual Blade

- bad guys like Idura.

- it would be nice if you if you could visit some underwaterlocations (like Dualblade Shrine, cities (like Preamarl), and underwatercaves like in Lufia I)

- maybe a secret character

All my observations are based on the only Lufia game I've ever played - RoS.

More dynamic main characters. It's pretty sad that the strongest characters of the game are not even around for half the quest - Dekar, Tia, and Lexis. Maxim, Selan, Artea, and to an extent Guy are just so plain and uninteresting. The only thing interesting about Maxim and Selan are their relationship.

I agree with Sin - MORE PUZZLES! Awesome!

How about a little backstory on CMs, MORE CMs covering ALL of the elements including flying, effective against hard, dragon, etc, and how about distinct improvements in CMs attributes and abilities when evolving them to a new form. Also please let them perform those special abilities at the rate of say a Class 3 or 4 Darbi instead of say a Master Class Foomy.

Purposely make fun and funny glitches! That's part of what makes Lufia II so unique and special.

How about a wayyyy higher difficulty level. How about not making the last string of bosses all susceptible to the same element? :P

There's all kinds of things you can do with an Ancient Cave. That would be cool to be able to unlock different characters to use in the AC including storyline characters and enemies.

And last but not least, don't make me suffer through Retry to get to Gift Mode :::ducking rotten tomatoes:::

yeah good suggestions. I would highly reccommend playing Lufia 1 and 2 for you; the storyline there is what I liked best, so you would be forced to learn about and like Maxim and Selan, etc. Those are my two favorite RPG's hands down because of the story. Come to think of it, its great they made it into sequel-prequel, unlike Final Fantasy always with new characters. Now I myself havent played anything outside of Lufia 1 and 2, but if they make another Lufia, my biggest wishlist items would be:

-Fighting similar to Lufia 2 as opposed to 1 with such TEDIOUS random moster battles everywhere, (OMFG give me unlimited sweet water, I fight something every 4 steps i take for heavens sake, and dont tell me I cannot run away when I select to.)

-Puzzles

- Made by same producing team so that the storyline will be of best quality, while maintaining the integrity of the story in 1 and 2, and thinking of plot for this game that makes sense in line with that

-Somehow, tell more about Arek, Erim, and the Sinistral world and background in general

The last bosses of Lufia I and TLR are hard.

- instead of a mode that gives you more EXP and GOLD, make a mode that gives you less EXP and GOLD.

- I want a HUGE RED JELLY named Master in the Ancient Cave!
(no green huge jelly named Master (Lufia TLR), and no red bigger-than-a-regular-red-jelly-but-not-huge jelly named Big Red Jelly (Lufia RoL) that idiot jelly in RoL doesn't even go away from the fight <_<)

- inn music that was used in Lufia I, II and RoL

I disagree. I think the fighting is way too easy, especially with imba spells such as Valor for only 30ish MP, or shield type spells. I enjoy a good challenging boss fight but these were not too tough. I do like the boss fights as an event, and the music, but otherwise I pretty much just see the fighting of little monsters especially as extremely tedious and an obstacle to get back to the story.

I think the best thing would really be to have a higher difficulty level. Unless you enjoy repeatedly hitting the "A" button and slaying monsters to level up, having a mode of less EXP and gold will only make you have to fight more monsters to get to that same level. I want tougher bosses in summary that have very tough magic and attack so that you feel the pressure the entire battle and have to work.

That's what is so awesome about the AC. It DOES have the difficulty level and in Gift Mode you can make your own challenges. If anyone is interested in truly challenging themselves, check out my Gift Mode Challenges FAQ on GameFAQs.

But the Sinistrals in I and TLR, GD (both), Erim and Zalbak are still 63985237657628354million times stronger than the Sinistrals in Lufia II.

Yeah I think theyre a little harder there too. But I guess my main point is, for as awesome of a game as Lufia 1 and 2 are, and how the Sinistrals are built up so much throughout the game, the final battles need to be extremely challenging. I think most people easily beat the Sinistrals at the end

- use the same victory music as in Lufia I, II and TLR. No longer versions like Lufia RoL.

Just remembered, http://www.geocities.com/bernardalgain/Lufia2.html has patches to make the Sinistrals stronger in Lufia II.

Lufia 5 ideas

Postby SinistralX » Tue Jul 24, 2007 9:54 am

Now, every Lufia 2 fan knows that Maxim has a son, right? Yet little Jeros has never played a part in any game, other than being born... I think Maxim would be a little upset... Jeros should star in any new Lufia games being thought of, though the Sinistrals wouldn't be in it, due to the 99 years that passed between the first two Lufia games. Also, Sir Arek commands the Sinistrals, but Maxim, nor any other Lufia party, has met the guy.....Is he shy or something?
.....and I have the power to confront that swell?

By now all these will have been posted, but I'm going to say them anyway.

I would like:

More Puzzles
a replay option with harder puzzles
A boat/sub/blimp like lufia 2
NO MORE RANDOM TOWERS AND DUNGEONS EXCEPT THE ANCIENT CAVE
no random battles in caves and towers
the Iris Treasures do something
playable casino
perhaps 3D
graphics NOT AS CARTOONY AS TLR
enemies that look like enemies, not like soft versions of enemies (again like TLR)
Capsule monsters like Lufia 2
more optional areas with hard puzzles blocking them
some subquests
A REALLY hard egg dragon
Sinistrals standardly harder, not needing a patch
Sinistrals
see more of the sinistrals, as all you saw in Lufia 2 was fight Gades twice, don't fight anyone else until the end pretty much.
a proofreader
longer game
a real story to it
more of an insight into individual characters
AC like Lufia 2
IP like Lufia 2
optional harder than normal bosses
time with inventor person but not on team (I'm one of those people who does not like Lexis at all, he always died on me)
bring back skills, none of this Torma has rope or only wave/sword like TLR

I don't want much do i?

Don't know about a time

I would really, reeaallyy love to see either a next-gen remake of Lufia 1 and/or Lufia 2. At this point, I'd even be glad to see them on GBA, I mean, after all, it would be better than everyone keeping their hopes up ::fingers crossed:: Someone has to agree with me, right?
