Lufia 2: Rise of the sinistrals - Play on comp?

Postby Xargon » Tue Jun 20, 2006 10:16 am

Ok, I have played only one Lufia game which was Lufia 2: Rise of the sinistrals. I absolutely LOVED this game and have compared each and every roleplaying game to it since! The most similar game I've found to the series was golden sun which was brillaint, but not as brilliant as Lufia 2!

I would really like to play Lufia 2 again sometime but no longer have my snez or game (which deleted the save game files twice a week anyway). I know you can download both emulators and game from varrious sites and a few days ago I found Lufia 2 and played it for the first time in ages!!!! But then my comp started doing weird things and I panicked thinking I might have a virus and wiped everything I downloaded.

So does anyone know any sites where I can safely get Lufia 2 and an emulator? Also do people recomend me playing Lufia 1 at all? All the reveiws say it's not as good, but not as bad as the 2 Lufia's for gameboy.. anyway I just don't want to be disapointed as Lufia 2 was absolutely amazing!!

whew.. that was a long post!

Lufia I is a good game.

Edit: Wait, I mean GREAT game! But Lufia II is still the best.

what the... SNEZ game? THAT'S CALLED SNES!

Anyway, Lufia I was the game that made me addicted to the series. Agreed, Lufia II is a better game, but Lufia I has a much better story. It's especially great if you play Lufia I first.

I can't decide if Lufia I or II is better. Graphics wise, Lufia II, but story line is both...

By the way, I remember DBMA posting somewhere that ROMS and Emulators are ILLEGAL, so you shouldn't use them anyway. If you really want to play the games again, try finding them in a second hand pawnbroker.
Once a jolly swag-man camped by a billabong
Under the shade of a Coolabah Tree
And he sang as he watched and he waited until his billy boiled
Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me?

The internet is my second hand pawn broker.

If you are too paranoid to use emulators, I'm sure EBAY could help you out.

ROMs and emulator are actually legal, but only if you own the console and game. Otherwise it is illegal

Edit: And I play it sometimes on PC, but of course I own the SNES and the Lufia II cartridge.

That's good then! As I still 'own' the consol and the game, they're just 100s of thousand miles away from me here...
