That does sound interesting.

I only really used "incarnate" because it's probably the closest word I could think of to make sense.

Mmm... On this whole Lufia and Erim thing, I personally disagree, but that's just me. I simply believe that Lufia and Erim are one and the same, not that Lufia has a different mind entirely. Erim herself has never been fully evil to begin with; not even in Lufia II. She was mainly just following orders.

In my opinion, Lufia and Seena are NOT different people entirely. Maybe, at the max, different personalities of Erim that developed when Erim was brought back, and she didn't remember who she was. I believe that Lufia is still Erim even after she loses her memory, and later is killed in some way and Erim is reborn some hundred years later as Seena.

Neither Lufia nor Seena have really had any families that we know of. Seena knew she was Erim when she joins your party, but she was also a lot older when she first appears in-game. Lufia just appears out of nowhere as a young girl. The Sinistrals, etc., never actually specifically say that Lufia is an alternate persona of Erim, either. They say that she IS Erim.

On another note, Erim, Seena, and Lufia really are a lot alike in appearance, too. They all have the exact same hair color and look very similar in appearance. The difference is age; Erim is a lot older than Seena, and Seena is a lot older than Lufia, when they first join up with you.

In my opinion, Seena was also Erim, and she made the assumption that Erim was completely different, when in reality she was in fact Erim. Her memories just didn't all come back, yet, and they probably wouldn't have. The Sinistrals helped Lufia recover her memories.

Regardless, this is getting quite off-topic... heh...

I don't think Lufia and Seena are incarnations of Erim. Erim is just reborn as a child every so often and has to get her memories back. That's my theory, anyway. So long as Erim is alive, the Sinistrals are revived, and Erim always comes back.

Yes, though, I agree that the "blah-blah-blah is Erim" is getting old... but you've got to look at it another way, too. It only happened twice. We pretty much already knew Iris was Erim at the start of Lufia II. Either that or I'm mistaken. I haven't played it for quite a while.

No matter what, though, Erim is never going to be evil. She never was in the first place; she was just following orders. She even helps Maxim throughout the game, AND after she's defeated by Maxim. This other side to her wasn't showcased in Lufia and the Fortress of Doom, but it did happen, of course.

Death is inevitable, death happens to all of us...

Death is neutral, not evil.

Well, I was looking up at another aspect that would change the variety in the story. Or it could be like the Legend of Zelda. Nothing makes sense on why it just happens.

Also, could this be the FIRST time Erim wanted to create something to leave behind? Let's say for some strange reason maybe an enemy greater, that the Sinistrals are dying. Sure beings of pure energy live long however, something is taking that power straight from the Wavespace weakening them greatly. Perhaps Erim wanted to escape eternal destruction by becoming human. Humans have spirits that pass on into the afterlife, avoiding existence's end.

It failed because she was unable to create a mindless/soulless body for herself. So she attached herself to this child (which makes her a completely different Lufia than in Fortress of Doom).

Why doesn't Erim want to destroy her instead of letting her live? I can't understand women worth squat. Maybe she and the Essence of Life had created other bodies before her.

That's right! Did you ever stop to think that there were more than just the Four Sinistrals of Doom?

There are other beings of energy; whether they're created from emotion or not they do exist in this world.

Who created the Sinistrals? Who created Arek? There's more possibilities out there if you expand the original concept and story.

The Essence of Life, [insert name here], is a being of concentrated energy polar to Erim. In fact, more of a fraternal twin sister than anything.

Maybe the father of Maxim was... Nevermind, that can't happen.

What am I saying? All this isn't fan service... Let's discuss Erim in another topic.

So SinReVi wants Amon back, what should he do?
