As much as I hate to admit it, I am going to stop spoiling my non-existing Lufia ideas. If you would like to learn more about it then I am sorry but I am going to abandon all my Lufia publicly.
Why? For a number of reasons:
1 ) As I am right now, there is no way I can make any of these concepts "official." I understand they are great ideas for fan games but I am taking back all "official" promises.
2 ) No evidence that these ideas are put into action. There isn't a point to concept unless it is accepted and executed. In a way I am hoping to get support here however, I am placing concepts at risk by freely expressing them.
3 ) It is illegal to produce an official game that you do not have rights too. Key word official. I did want the game to be produced on the Wii and DS. We all know if it isn't PC it is virtually piracy of property. Simply because you cannot make content for game consoles without making money from what you produced. If it isn't free then it will get me in trouble.
4 ) I do not own Lufia. I did not make the original games. I cannot get these rights for continuing the original story for they are held by the original Lufia team. I have no way of contacting license holders for rights nor do I have any business to do so. I am a nobody to the entire world thus the original creators wouldn't care about me.
5 ) The video game industry is a business first. All industries, including entertainment and music, is about business ethics. As much as I could gain enough economic background about the series, it isn't up to me. Taito still holds the rights to the dead name of Lufia and they aren't going to let it go to some random American idiot.
6 )We all have lives to live. Get on with it. I am told this over and over again. When I find the opportunity to make this official I will but it isn't my say so.
7 ) I accept the fact it is a huge improbability to produce such a title. It is also costly and timely at an estimate of waiting over at least 15-20 years for the opportunity, not including latent reasons and an uncontrollable future.
8 ) As well as uncountable money to spend in production, advertising, translation, of what little profit is there to make will not add up to the unmeasurable value of resources producing the game. The game will literally cost lives to produce of developers, marketeers, and fans alike. That isn't the risk I am willing to take.
9 ) This information is all a rumor and shouldn't be publicly accepted. If you accepted it as true I am sorry but you are literally the biggest sucker out there. Infact WHY THE HECK DID YOU JUST RANDOMLY ACCEPTED SOMETHING UNSOURCED ON THE INTERNET IN THE FIRST PLACE? I understand, some people are gullable like that. I am killing the rumor before it haunts me for life.
10 ) This is the most important thing I have to concider above everything. You must pay attention. Looking in the perspective of a game designer you see good games and bad games. In the beginning there were plenty of good games sparked from innovation. As time moves on, the sequels of those innovated games that didn't evolve new innovation become stale and eventually die. Even now some of those long living games are so old that when they try out new innovation, it is too much for them and they die anyway.
Sounds legit to you? Don't care? Good! After all who cares about something that can't exist. One in the number of repeating decimals of pie chance it will be produced? Yeah right. I am sure Neverland knows better than all of us.
I sound so stupid... You know what, I just have to make concepts into reality! Stagnate Memories is publicly canceled. As for Lufia Battle Tactics, its open to whoever wants to join.
