Do you mean only from the Lufia World forum or from a certain other Lufia themed board as well? In the second case I think I know the right one for Prince Alex.

Good thing I'm not on the board. I hate to see who I might be.

Probably the first red jelly you kill.

Whoa, Princess Cefia left Parcelyte for a long journey around the world. However, her favourite pet, La Puella, remained.

Image

La Puella was too lazy for such a long journey, so she stayed back. How about a little battle just for fun?

Image

La Puella is a hard but not Kureji hard enemy which gives a good challenge.

Oh wow! Is this something completely new?:O
Hmm, this seems like one of those impossible bosses^^
Where in the story is it? or is it only accesible after you beat the sinies or something?

I guess La Puella turned out to be the smartest being in the entire Lufiaverse.

Unlike some other certain someones who decided to put all their miracles in chests so that the enemies can take and use them, she actually uses her items herself instead. And she trained her buddies to become the most efficient and dangerous helpers in the whole world of Estpolis.

For standing a chance I guess it's the best to bring in some good stuff as well like:

1) the Egg Ring which especially is helpful at lower levels
2) the Sea Ring which adds the fire element to your weapons in this patch

Edit: For those who can't find her, she's a completely new boss located at Parcelyte Castle - however, she's only fightable after the marriage.

Artemis - no idea if you can help me with this or not, but:

I re-downloaded the ROM/snes9x, patched it, etc. Since I wanted to speed to the fight with La Puella, I used cheats. Unfortunately, that resulted in weird brown stuff - the menus would "lag" on me, for lack of a better term. Whenever I used the Item-Making cheats found on Gamefaqs, if I went to back out of the equipment menu, I would be stuck there until I minimized the emulator.

In addition to that, the bosses were actually replaced by OTHER BOSSES! When I fought the Lizard Man, it was me v the Big Catfish, who I killed in one shot. When I got to the actual Big Catfish, it was the Tarantula (sjfhsdjhfjsdhfsjdhfjag, I HATE THIS BOSS) and a Follower. Needless to say, I got my ass kicked.

I'm not sure if it's an emulator version problem or not - when I played your patches in the past, it was on snes9x v1.51, but I saw that there's a snes9x v1.52, so I used that.

I don't know what exactly is up, but one question:

Do you by any chance use Windows Vista?

Because Vista seems to have problems with overwriting an older file with the same name. For example the boss switch problem may be because of changes in Kureji Lufia. I guess you don't play Kureji Lufia now, but if your ROM has the same name as your old one when you played Kureji, I wouldn't be surprised if Vista messed something up.

Many users have these kinds of problems. For example Superdreuzel:

He has Vista there as well and that was the result.

I use XP. Never had a problem deleting, reinstalling, and going about my business.

I'll give it another try later and see what happens. If it continues (which is what I'm expecting it to do), I'll see if I can find a v1.51 download.
