Oh, you found the Artemis' Bow. :o

But it's only a dummied out item at the end of the item list. It was called "Last" before. I don't even know what it does.

Another pointless change might be the Power Jelly. I called it to Jelly Piece and gave it a description like "A piece of the God of Jellies."
As he called himself a god in TLR, the text shouldn't be too far-fetched, but however, you cannot read it without cheating, anyway.:D

Edit: The text from the deleted GameFAQs topic - just so that it's not lost:

The most interesting things should be Frue Lufia, Spekkio Lufia and Kureji Lufia which are in the English/Projects folder.

Frue Lufia:
Frue Lufia combines all of Reli's bugfixes with some of mine as well as a lot of dialogue changes.

Not only are some mistakes like Gai changed, there are also some inconsistencies changed like that it was said that Gades called himself a Sinistral at the Gordovan Tower which, in fact, he never did.

I guess it's the consequence of the censorship and the removal of the term "god". This did lead to a lot of mistakes and strange dialogues as the word god is always replaced with things like "super beings" or Sinistrals, and sometimes incorrectly.

For example at the end when you reach Narvick there is mentioned that there have been not evil gods as well who have left these divine armaments. But once they are called "treasures of the Sinistrals".
Also please can somebody explain me what the "Sacred Truth" is Artea mentions after the Venge Ghost battle? ^^

Spekkio Lufia:
Spekkio Lufia is nearly the same as Frue Lufia, but also changes the Egg Dragon and Master fight. The dragon now changes his behaviour depending on the parties' level. Below level 50 he's basically the same as before, but the higher the level the more dangerous he gets.

Kureji Lufia:
This is the newest version of Kureji Lufia. There's two difficulties: difficult and fruely hardcore. I'd really suggest playing the difficult version as it makes it easier to get some of the great equipment parts like a few blue chest items, the Old Shield/Helmet etc. There are also the stat increasing potions buyable at the end which might help a lot.

Here the most important changes regarding earlier versions:

Idura 3rd:
He doesn't paralize you as often as in some earlier versions.

Shuman Gades & Strahda Amon:
They have better defense and some of Amon's attack are stronger now. However, if you are properly equipped (and especially if you bought some power potions) there are still a piece of cake. ^^

Final Amon:
His attack pattern is changed a little bit and his Black Hole attack is now more dangerous. I hope he isn't so easy anymore. :-)

Daos:
He gains one Dark reflector more per usage and he defense increases more if he uses Mystery. However, in the difficult version the increased defense won't really lower the inflicted damage.

Egg Dragon:
His Scrambled Egg is upgraded and he has the new powerful Meteor spell. Why not just don't disturb him and let him chill at his place? He granted you four wished, so he deserves a little bit freedom, right? ^_^

Edit 2:

I forgot to say I can't do something about Amon's color palette.

Apropos Amon: I fixed a little problem concerning Amon's last battle in Kureji Lufia so there's a little update now. But other than Kureji Lufia nothing has changed.

Ah, I figured as much regarding Amon.

Anyhow, now that it's finally back up, have you considered submitting these to ROMHacking.net? You'd need to submit them in separate .ZIP files, of course, but it'd be a good asset to that website. :D

Hmm, this is more official then, right? After all it's not completely my work as I used so many of Reli's patches.

When I tested the link it seemed to work.

Do you have a ROM with header or a headerless one?

Hm.. oh well, I found the file I'd downloaded already. :P
So the 'main' patch is Frue Lufia? The patch you've been working on and been discussing the past few pages? Or Kureji?

Yeah, but people build off another's patch all the time. Plus, knowing Reli, he'd be fine with it so long as you gave him credit--which you already do.

I'd say go for it!

I'd say it's more of an ensamble of patches, really.

From version 1.0 to 1.2 there are changed some dialogues of Frue Lufia (as well as Spekkio and Kureji Lufia).

From version 1.2 to 1.2.1 there's only a small change in Kureji Lufia.

I'll think about romhacking.net. However, first I'll wait a bit - just in case there's still something to fix.^^

ROMs with header are a little bit bigger. The exact size is 2621952 bytes.

ROMs without header are 512 bytes smaller. So, it should be 2621440 bytes then.

It has to be the US version with header.

Yours seems to be a (headerless) PAL version.

Sorry Chris, but this deserves its own post :) Btw, could contain spoilers for the boss tactics!!

Wow. Just wow. I have to say, the bosses are fun; they actually forced me to try and find how to beat them again! The first boss was still pretty much a pushover, boomerangs helped me greatly there. I fell a few times at the catfish, after getting hit by those stinking flashes, but got him down pretty soon after that. First made sure I have near full health as soon as he starts to heal himself, and then burn him down. But then the goblin king... think I died about twenty times, thinking of way to get him down :D

I visited the casino, and got myself a nice dagger; I figured the bomb attack could help me out later. Did the dungeon, came to the boss... and failed miserably. Attacking them all at once wasn't a good idea; used to work until Tia gets killed, and then it's all going downhill. In the end, I silenced the casters using the Witch Ring, and kept killing the other kobold until another wizzard was called. With all of them silenced, I kept them alive, put Tia to constant healing, and Maxim attacking the king. The little damage the casters did (if any) was simply outhealed. Took me a while though :D

Awesome mod so far mate, thank you!
