Finally!

Postby Imperial Dragon » Mon Mar 29, 2004 12:41 am

After first playing it 9 or 10 years ago, I finally beat Lufia and the Fortress of Doom a couple of days ago! The ironic thing is that considering that, I beat it in retry mode today, and had EVERYONE at level 99... The ending is kind of sad, but doesn't hold a candle to the ending of RotS.

Yeah, the Lufia games usually have those both happy and sad endings that get you all emotional!

Well done on finishing the game with such good stats by the way!

Except Runis fo Lore!!! There are two kinds of games: Those that, when you finish them, you wanna play more, know everything of it... And there is those that when you finish, you go to watch TV or sleep... Lufia RotS is an exemple of the first kind, and Lufia RoL is an exemple of the second kind...

Yes, Ruins of Lore was just a really short/happy ending.......they should have made it longer.

Still waaaaaaay behind. I've beat Lufia 3 more times than I can count, but each time I get more and more of the non-storyline stuff.

Also beat the Egg Dragon... three times in a row! Just did that in RotS yesterday! One thing that I thought of: You can give the person who has the Egg Ring the Egg Sword as well, without a drop in attack.
I gave both to Selan, then went back to Alunze Kingdom and got her the Seethrough Silk for the Miracle IP technique.

Beating the Egg Dragon three times in a row is a great achievement! :P Now let's see if you can defeat me in the RPG battle system! ;)
