I think the website would be better if we learned magic from experience not buying.

Well, that's how you got magic in Lufia II and TLR, you bought it, or you used LP at churches to learn them.

I'm not clever enough to change the RPG code like that! ;) DBAM's right though. Don't you remember going to magic shops? :P

I think there all good, I have only seen a couple of RPGs that let me down when I played them.

You should try getting the first two games on Ebay or something. http://www.lufia.net/ has an alternative illegal solution to buying the games though...

My parent FORBID me from buying another system, blah.

Oh yea, and if you are talking about ROM's, are they only illegial if you get it without owning the game first, because I figured how to take comp screen screenshots, but I don't know how to get those games onto the comp.

Sorry to burst your bubble, lufiamanaelf, but I can attest that ROM's, no matter if you have the actual game or not, are still illegal.

I found this out from an old issue of Nintendo Power, and I believe that Nintendo.com has a section on this under their "Corprate" section.

But even though it's illegal, your chances of getting caught are very slim (opposed to GBA emulation- which Nintendo has now patented.....).

It's kind weird how in Lufia I you have to learn spells and in Lufia 2 and TLR you buy them somehow, and according to Matthew, in ROL you buy them once again. I haven't gotten LOR yet but I hope to soon. That'll complete my collection.

hmmmmmmm....... I'm not all sure about the emulator thing, in a book I found, some sites actually pay for the emulators and consult it with the whatever to get them.
