Worst Final Fantasy?

Postby Chris » Tue Mar 09, 2004 6:05 pm

Heh heh, this should be interesting!

Personally, I think Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. Don't get me wrong, I loved that game. It's just, when compared with the other FF games it always feels a bit too simple.

However, it did ease me into the series! :wink:

I'm going to have to agree with you on that one. It was more like an RPG with stuff to get north americans hooked on it, like rock music.

Oh must I pick one? I agree that Mystic Quest isn't the best, but not the worst. The worst is a tie between:

FF7, FF8, FFX, & FFX-2

Do you know how long ago that one was made -_-;;

I'd have to go with number 3 I believe it was on the NES (the one were there was no leveling up)

No, but thw only way to get stronger was to use those skills... like if you wanted mega HP you would kill yourself and so on... the game was also to hard. I never really got into the story. Also, if you ran out to far, there were monsters that would kill you in one hit and you couldn't do squat to them.

I don't think FFIII has been released in the UK... probably got something to do with the lack of growing levels.

You didn't actually grow levels in FFX... but the Sphere Grid was a good substitute!

final fantasy 2 is a great game. it was the first game to have scripted main protaganists. it also introduced the long running theme of minor charcters dieing and leaveing your party. and the battle system was good. i personaly found it very strangely saticfing targeting frionel with an axe over and over again. i personaly think that the level up system has it origins in the saga series that has leveled up in simular ways in the past.
( oh and marias sexy) ff2 can be downloaded on nes rom , translated wonderswan rom. or bought for a reasonable prise as final fantasy origans ( including the united kingdom) as for worst game i would say ff8 no armor hardly any treasure ! main charcters a....... ( fill in the insults yourself)

origins blows.....i wouldn't get it unless you want to complete a ff collection....i'm already bored of that game...in the first one every 3 steps and you get battled....sometimes less.
