The Youth League or New Yevon?

Postby Chris » Sat Mar 20, 2004 7:31 pm

In Final Fantasy X-2, I've just passed the bit where I'm giving the 'awesome sphere' from Kilika Temple back.

I decided to give it back to New Yevon, but I've heard that I can only get a 99% rating because of this... is this true? It doesn't matter, it will give me an excuse to do the game again!

Who did you guys choose to give the 'awesome sphere' to and why?

I gave it to the "Youth League", simply to attain 100% completion. Currently, I'm at 94% completion.

Chris, let me know if there's any good story info via giving the Sphere to New Yevon (although I'll eventually get around to playing the game a 2nd time and picking New Yevon).

you shoulda saved it right before then give it to New Yevon...then save in a diffrent slot.....complete the game then go back to the first save point before you gave it to New Yevon then give it to the Youth League.
stupid is as stupid does

But then you can't carry over your data ('cept for levels) via "New Game Plus".....

New Game Plus? Is it like Lufia's retry mode?

When I finish the game on my own, I'll buy the official guide and go through a second time getting everything (and going with the Youth League).

I like New Yevon better than the Youth League, but something tells me that they're bad guys...

Well, I wouldn't say that New Yevon's that bad (Yevon back a 1000 years ago was really bad- you'll find out more in Chapter 3).

"New Game Plus" allows you to transfer all data 'cept for levels over to a new game (dresspheres, abilities, items, key items, etc.).

The main reason I chose New Yevon was because they had a better hideout... :P

I'm still in chapter 2, looking for Leblanc uniforms.

Yes, what is cool about the dresspheres is that the more of the same kind you get, the more of that one you can put on one grid.
