You could always change the bitmaps for your own personal viewing, but for everyone to see your custom graphics, they would also need the graphic file. I don't have any plans to support custom graphics / avatars / sprites after the game is released but if enough people wanted this feature it wouldn't be hard to implement it. I strongly recommend against it however because people are bound to upload offensive material into the game.

Around 5MB without music. A full release might make it 20MB. Depends if we go with MP3 or Midi formats.

The music could go either way at this point. Right now, we're leaning towards the higher quality of MP3.

Hmm...if that's the case, how about having seperate downloads for the finished product, since some users (like myself) on 56k would take a WHILE to download a 20MB program.

Maybe the main program, and the seperate music files or all of them in one ZIP?

It's possible, everything's a possibility at this point.

Any MMO game is geared towards high speed users. However, it's very possible that with the low graphical demands, this'll will work fine on a 56k system. We just have to wait for the testing to find out.

Well, a game like this really thrives on sound.
I mean, what would Lufia I and II be without it's music?

But yeah we should offer a smaller package for download, so I'll make a seperate version just for the people on 56k. Good idea.

Yeah, I just wanted to make sure that we weren't excluding anybody. This game needs all the coverage it can get! :D

Good. My modem usually runs at 50k tops, so that's a lifesaver.

You could have a few different versions like one with mp3 music, one with mid music and on with no music

This package will only have to be downloaded once, so 56k'ers should be ok.
