What are your first impressions of Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg now that there are more screenshots and previews about? I can't wait! It's a GameCube exclusive too... I'm not sure if that's good or bad though...

I'm the older one.

I like the egg concept. It almost seems like Pokemon in a way... looking after your egg until it hatches, then you have a creature at your command...

Well, a lot of people have bee crying out for a full-blown Pokemon game on the GameCube, so perhaps this will go some way to satisfying that request.

I hope there are a lot of monsters/creatures in the game. One of the major appeals of Pokemon is the fact that there are so many different creatures for people to collect.

I like the idea of the eggs as well. What I wonder though is if you'll be able to catch other creatures as well as hatching them. It would also be nice to have some sort of connectivity feature where you could raise your creatures in a mini-game on the GBA, and then upload them back into the game -- much like the Chao in Sonic Adventure 2 if anyone has played that.

This game has a lot of potential.

didn't realise this until just now.

If you have to hatch your creatures from eggs... well the game is going to take quite a long time to beet.

Well if this game becomes a hit... we'll definately have a lot more people coming to our website.

YAY

Actually the game is great. I have the demo disc, so I've played it quite a bit.

You push your egg around and the fruit that you pick up for it helps the egg to grow. Once your egg gets big enough, your egg meter (or whatever they want to call it? =) flashes and you get a certain animal out of it. One is a Penguin who helps you through the next part of the level once you hatch him.

Personally, I think the rest of the game will be great as well!

That's good to know. Now if only Nintendo would get around to releasing those demo discs over here I could play it for myself! :P
