Hey what is your favorite version of link from the series. Mine has got to be Link from 2005. What about you guys.

The link from the cartoons ;p.

Nah he's my hero in a link to the past. But the graphics from N64 are cool too. :).

As much as I liked The Wind Waker's Link, I'd have to go with the N64 Links too. :)

(However, the Link in the new GCN Zelda game is looking awesome!)

Link to the Past

Postby Mace » Tue Apr 05, 2005 4:21 am

I have to say, hands down, that I liked the Link from A Link to the Past best. Guess it's just refreshing every now and again to beat the hell out of some screen sized boss with what looks like an escapee from the north pole.

A game/character shouldn't be judged by its graphics. It's like saying the original LoZ sucks because the graphics are crap.

Anyway...

The WW Link was pretty funny, just take him to Ice Ring Isle and try to do a 180 degree turn. :D:D:D

But for me, I guess you can say realism wins, so you can say the Zelda 2005 Links wins for me. Looks like Nintendo learned a lesson from Activision, as the SCII version of Link was awesome, too.

Now, if only we could here some English words from Link now.

Yeah. I always thought it was a little downside from Zelda that Link never spoke.

I meant Namco. I've been playing too much THPS I think.
