Star Ocean:Till The End of Time

Postby Lufia_player_2 » Sun Apr 03, 2005 7:39 pm

Alright, i've noticed in the one poll quite a few people enjoy this game so.....I've started its own topic!!

Anyway, overall I REALLY like it....but as I stated in the poll, I can't find a copy and the one I rented wouldn't let me into Aquios....*cries*

After the first 20-hours, the story gets really good. I still have to beat the bonus dungeons.

I liked the fact that you had eight possible endings.

Anyway, I feel as though Fayt isn't just an average kid you know??? Then again, my magizine I get from PSM TOLD ME THAT *Stabs the magizine*!!

Right after the end to the Airglyph / Arias war, that's when the story gets 100% times better. Perfect plot twist.

After playing ToS, action battle systems have become the shnizit for me. If I could better privately play PS2, I'd get this game in a heartbeat.

People do say this game bests ToS after all.

The only bad thing is that Tri-Ace's CD/DVD-based games are notorius for having small load times if your disc is even minorly scratched. Otherwise, a very decent game.

But... isn't small/short load times a good thing?

I am a huge fan of SO2, I've played it through at least 4 times. I bought SO3 the day it came out and was disappointed. I've tried it twice and can not get into the game. I play for a few hours(past the mine area when the beetle you ride) and then loose interest. There is something about the game that can't hold my interest like SO2 does.

I meant that before most battles, or sometime during a move in battle, the game will take five to seven seconds to access the DVD. It gets annoying late-game, with all of the on-screen action (Fayt's Dimension Door, etc.).

It is boring in the beginning because the beginning of the story arc is supposed to suck. After the Ariglyph/Arias war, it gets MUCH more interesting (if you like sci-fi RPG's).

I guess I should give it a third shot. I just need to find the time to do that.

A horrible game, the second one is a million times better then this dreadful thing. I played this for awhile and it just sucks everything about it sucks. Except the music that by far is the only good thing about it.
