This year... There's rumors that they'll push it to the Revolution. I hope they don't. Miyamoto said he'll release it on Gamecube.

If Nintendo did that, they would MAJORLY piss off their fanbase. And if the fan base dosen't buy, Zelda sales plummet.

I *did* hear that the Revolution controller MIGHT be able to be used with Twilight Princess.

I think it got delayed to Q3 2006 either because of that, other dev. issues, or they want to use the Revolution's backwards compaitability combined with the possible $150-200 USD price point at launch to sell the game.

Either way, if it keeps TP from becomming a "Wind Waker", I'll be happy. ^.^

My friend actually told me. He's usually on the ball with this, but I'll give it a look myself.

It does sounds like a pretty reasonable date, though, however shadowed by the REV's release on the 21st.

Well, it seems we'll have plenty of time to save up if we still don't have enough cash still.

With such a late elease date, its a guaranteed to be a top notch game.
"a rushed game will be bad forever, but a delayed game will eventually be good" I beleive Miyamoto said that once.

I'm sorry, but there IS no official release date for the Revolution yet. Most likely it'll be announced a E3. As for the Twilight Princess date, I went to Nintendo's official website, and they only show it being released in 2006. I'm just curious on where your friend got their information. (I'm not trying to flame you or anything, I'm just trying to be informative is all.)
