"E's"

Postby Dekar The Great » Fri Dec 07, 2007 9:33 pm

The E's on the screenshots can represent a number of things, people in towns, doors, coding, buttons, all sorts of things, basically they are the objects or people that you can interact with, also an E is used for the coding that makes the "caterpillar effect" in the Lufia games work, they wouldnt be shown if I was actually playing the game when taking the screenshots, however I took them while in the RPG maker window.

Thanks

Although I was about to post don't worry about it because i've just screenshotted the letters and constructed the font from scratch. Thanks a lot though

I've lost track of Dekar but the game is still progressing, whether he wants me to or not i'm going to take some screenshots of the game atm so people can see what it looks like (with new graphics and it won't have those E's all over it.) So check out the www.freewebs.com/lufiav in the next day or so

EDIT: I have uploaded 4 new screenshots for your viewing pleasure

Hm, looks very interesting, I'm looking forward to play this. Please, don't cancell this project and keep up your good work! ;)
You know, I also make my own games with the RPG-Maker and the Game Maker. If you are interested in how my Seiken Densetsu - project progresses, check my You Tube videos/channel:

very interesting...

we have no intention of canceling the game. It sucks that it's been delayed as long as it has but we don't have any intention of canceling it. Watch this space for new information:P

If you haven't already sinistral89 check out the current site of the game:
www.freewebs.com/lufiav
It has some screenshots and some music so it might help

Progress Update

Postby Dekar The Great » Tue Apr 01, 2008 7:58 pm

I have been trying to clean things up in this forum and get everything fancy and neat for when the demo comes out, which is coming very very soon!

I'm now aiming for a mid-April release, however, I believe this is in the best interest of the community.

-I am making the demo slightly longer.

-I have been creating onscreen battle sprites for each of the custom hero sprites, which is quite a lengthy (and frusterating) process.

-There were many problems when we switched from Rpgmaker 2k to 2k3. Examples: Loss of some sounds, loss of spell animations, battle system errors, and more.

-With 2k3 we can make the game more advanced, and have more features for you to enjoy and for us to enjoy as well(some make our job easier :D).

-Zifanite has been creating chipsets for us, such as the very sought after Lufia II Kingdom Chipset...which I have been looking for FOREVER, so I am in the process of making the games first Kingdom, which should turn out quite nicely. He has been working very hard to make sure we have all of our resources.

-Maxim6221 has made some extravagent Lufia I, II, TLR and RoL musical remixes for the mp3 version of the game, which capture all of the emotion that the originals did, very nice work.

-Lastly, was weeding out the bugs and frequent spelling errors in the game.

Just remain patient friends, the demo will be in your hands...(or your computer) very soon, I once again am sorry for all these unexpected delays and I appreciate your patience.

Dekar, it wasn't hard to keep the old sounds and animations, but you just ploughed on ahead without asking me......

Anyway so yeah, it should be done very soon and available for downloading reasonably soon for the good value price of $0.00

Awesome! Good luck on it, as always!
The price sounds... acceptable.

I'm really looking forward to this demo. Is it still on target for a mid-April release? :)

Despite my last post, Dekar is back from a holiday so he is working on the game again, so hopefully soon...
