Possible to change the names?

Postby DefunktPistol » Wed Jun 09, 2010 7:27 pm

To anyone who has played the Japanese game:

I know the Japanese release will be different than the American one, but I want to know: because the game will feature voices, can you change the character's names? Further, can you turn off the voices? :3 Only reason I ask is: 1)I liked the voices I imagined when I played this as a kid and 2) It's SELAN.

Nope, you can't change the names. What do you mean by "It's Selan"?
But yes, you can adjust the volume of the voices separately and turn them off. Yay!

Edit: And now there's two posts instead of one. Spot the differences.

Editedit: And now there's one again. Looks like a certain moderator decided to change it. And she had to remove the wrong one.

1. No you can't name your characters (that includes Maxim)
2. You can turn off the voices

I meant "It's Selan" because it looked like the English version would replace "Selan" with Serena. Not sure though :)

Huh. Part of me is happy that everyone keeps his or her original name (more or less), another part of me was hoping for Selena, (consistent) Arty, and Hydekar/Heidecker.

It doesn't affect me either way, and I'll bet a lot more people are happy. Now let's hope that we can get a clear pronunciation of "Selan" this time... :P

I'm pretty sure Erim's name is mentioned during her battle.
