Is it possible? Fix the bugs in the first game and improve the graphics, maybe DS, maybe ps3?

I think DS would be a good choice because of the touchscreen.

The game is part RTS. I would agree with fixing the party movement with the stylus. Also one thing that bugged me was the fact that during boss fights, he would run off screen and ram/blast you across the room! Unfair!

Improve the action. Sure it's about protecting your party. However have anyone heard of combo attacks or special moves? They deal extra damage.

Biggest addition: MULTI-PLAYER. Have four friends online or offline help you out. Four parties with 5 characters each (1 Player, 4 NPC's or 5 NPC's) would be much more fun with friends. Wouldn't you say?

Higher resolution means better sprites. It could be a 2.5D game with 2D sprites and 3D environments. More interactivity with different terrain would be nice. Example, some characters can climb, some can balance in high places.

Two Screens = Better HUD. It's that simple...

Anything else you would like to add to improvements?

I definately agree with making it for the DS. Stylus movement would definately help moving the pioneers around those tight corners (I can think of at least a few times when I let my guys move, ran ahead to cover a CIMA nest and then realized about a minute later that someone got stuck on something).

Maybe the option to choose someone you want to use in combat during the dungeon portions (though you'd probably still have to use Ark/whoever-the-main-character-is-if-it-focuses-on-someone-else in boss fights). Trust could still only go up if you were playing as the main character, but in some instances it could be incorporated into puzzles where you have to use someone else (i.e. a gunner to hit a faraway switch/enemy).

Instead of one main character? Why not have four? Each main character could be a leader of a party of five characters and you can switch in between these four.

CIMA barely scratched the possibilities of it's concept. Expand it, have friends play with you, and most importantly ultimatize the game's potential.

As long as you can play co-op or on your own then I'm fine. I wouldn't be able to find three other people to play with me. My boyfriend, maybe, but nobody else I know can actually hold a handheld and pay attention to the screen (my mother was shocked she was able to even use the DS when she demoed one at Nintendo World when my boyfriend and I were watching the Pokemon Stadium matches)

I know that each character has their own unique skill in something, but you can activate them at will using something like Personal Ponts (pp). Drawback, the entire party shares the same source.

Also, have four parties composed up of five units, a coordinator (or Gate Guardian PC) and four specialists (NPC's) each.

Specialists are unique at whatever they do, but are split up into five general categories: Fighter, Medic, Navigator, Scavenger, and Supporter.

Fighter: Specialists who can fight like a swordsman or a gunslinger. Fighters usually synthesize weapons, armour, and ammo

Medic: Specialist trained to heal wounds, cure diseases, and revive KOed allies. Made up of nurses, doctors, pharmacists, and more. Synthesizes healing items like Potion Alpha and Remedy.

Navigators: Specialists who are trained to get around and explore unknown areas. Some can even track down enemies. Made up of map makers, explorers, rangers, and more. Synthesizes survival items like ropes and compasses.

Scavengers: Specialists trained to find and identify items used for synthesizing. Treasure Hunters find hidden treasure, archeologists find fossils and artifacts, herbalists find herbs, and others. Synthesizes raw materials into refined materials.

Supporters: Aren't anyone listed in the general categories. Supporters are unique in their skill to aid the party in many ways. Like a diva who sings to raise morale, a chef who prepares dinner, or a fortune teller who brings forth good fortune, and more. Synthesizes unique items and accessories.

I know it sounds complicated, but still wouldn't mind an increase in variety.

There are the latest game in the CIMA and its popularity has been increase with the many fans. The enemy on the game is the best in the ranking. It is a combination of the fighters, supporters and the navigators which make more excitement to play.
