Yeah, I've been saving backups since I screwed up the main hero's sprites and such. Also, the code for sword swing is working so far, its just a matter of getting the hero to change to a different sprite, which has been made, but as I was saying, the color's keep getting distorted, with anything I try and alter.

Until this issue is fixed... I'm not sure what to do lol.

Update:

Sword completely functional, sprites and all. I still can't figure out a fix for the chipsets tho, it seems that RPG maker requires that you upload the chipsets in 256 color, but when I save the things that I exported out of RPG Maker as 256, they lose a lot of quality... quite confusing...

Well, if all else fails there's Character Maker 1999. It is a program made to edit RMK sprite sheets. Probably isn't as robust as Photoshop or something but it's free and it works.

Ok, sword problem/sprite problem fixed.

I'm trying to get pots to work... but Zifanites coding for them is quite difficult to understand, and/or try to implement it over into my game. Im having QUITE a lot of trouble understanding all of it, so if anyone has an easier solution, let me know.

(That means YOU DarkMaster) =P

Also... if anyone is good at making chipsets, I would love a Labyrinth chipset.

Gaira Cave is nearing completion, there are 2 incomplete puzzles at the moment due to the lack of the Pot coding, but besides that, its looking pretty good.

I'm sure I could implement the code into your game if you want me to try. It looks a lot more complex than it is. Also what exactly do you mean Labyrinth? give me an idea of where in the original lufia you're thinking of.

Righto, I have all the pictures needed and a template. I can put it all together at some point if you'd like it but that'll be a job for later on

Dekar, firstly check your email. If you have a look I have sent you 2 different chipsets that I made in the last 2 days (not sure how they'll work as i'm not in the mood to screw around with rpgmaker atm). Secondly I sent you a written description for how the full pot movement thing is built from the ground up. Hopefully the documentation will make more sense. It's so confusing because each pot in a room is keyed to a different switch. I'd suggest you go have a look at the cave to see all the events there. There are also a couple of events to make you turn without moving.

Alright, I have sent in two progress reports to your PM's on LWF. Think I should start writing them publically.

I have a few ideas in mind, but right now I'm working on something big!

Yep! The Skill Item Menu.

It's going to use pictures with sprites 32x32 Pixels. If anyone want to make images or suggestions for the skill items menu, then let me know.

Oh, if you want to send me stuff. There's a Y im and MSNm button underneath my posts.
