Your predictions: Estpolis 3DS or DSi/3DSWare

I bet Natsume/Square Enix is going to release Lufia: The Legend Returns for 3DS's Virtual Console, but that's just me. Though now that I think about it, I think we might not get a remake/port of Lufia I because of US publishing rights. Taito published Lufia I in the US. According to many histories of games published by different publishers in the US, that's a recipe for disaster for Natsume.

Unless Square Enix publishes the game themselves, I don't think we'll get Lufia I outside of Japan. Unless you want Natsume USA to be sued, then everyone loses.

I'm not going to crack game play ideas because the Estpolis series always have a bad habit of being published too late in the system's life cycle, with the exception of Ruins of Lore but that was a different developer and publisher all together. Though Lufia Curse of the Sinistrals was released a good time before the 3DS launch.

Can I write an open letter to Natsume and Neverland so someone can translate it into Japanese for me?

I know I should use my valuable LWF time to discuss the current game and write guides for it instead of speculating like the only things I have done in this forum.

And now for something entirely different: A man with three buttox.

For a quick update while I still have the chance, Lufia: Myth of the Moon Goddess won't have updates for a long time (why care, it's non-canon for a non-existing Wii game anyways). I found out if I don't stay ahead of online school work by at least two weeks then I fail so I have to catch up. Also, due to's new guidelines I virtually have to rewrite the damn story into a novel before I post it. Others have posted drama scripts before I did, but knowing my luck I will be the lucky one to get caught. The story will still be in drama form on the forum. If anyone wants to make a drama track out of it, I'm for it if I can watch the audition.

Eh, who am I kidding, the story is roughly a failure. Or maybe not, I dunno. Some feedback would be nice. I think people are pissed that I scared away the other fan fic writer.

Didn't Taito USA go down several years ago? If nothing else, SE owns Taito now. That's how Curse of the Sinistrals was made, if you don't remember--SE told their Taito branch to make a new game, Taito asked Neverland to make a new Lufia, then SE of America asked Natsume to localize it. It's not like the Breath of Fire 1 SNES issue.

Taito is now wholly owned by Square Enix, and ultimately, they also own the Lufia brand. I don't see why they couldn't rerelease, or make, a new Lufia game for other consoles. They can do whatever they want--including let Natsume publish the games in the US. That's what they did with Curse of the Sinistrals. Since Square Enix owns the rights to the Lufia franchise, they can have Natsume publish rereleases just like Taito did before.

It doesn't particularly matter that Taito published the original Lufia. Again, Square Enix OWNS Taito now.
