European CIMA?

Postby SinReVi » Mon Apr 16, 2012 6:25 pm

Just found out that the game even has a rating from USK and PEGI... But I'm still sure that the European version was cancelled.

Ubisoft was also responsible for publishing Lufia TLR in Europe.

Other things known about the EU version:

- There is a complete German translation hidden in the NA rom.

(this is the only way I was able to make the German actually show up in the game. But I only did the beginning scene. Perhaps you would be able to make the language selection screen show up with a code?)

(The NA version of Lufia TLR also has a German translation inside, but the language select option only shows up in the European version of the game. I guess they wanted to do the same with CIMA, making the language select option only available in the European version)

- Besides German, the language select option also suggests that there was going to be a french translation. However, there is no French translation inside the rom at all.

Perhaps the European version was cancelled because the NA version didn't sell good enough?

Could be. Sad, because it was such a fun game. I seriously need to play it again, but I've had so little free time :(

I also remember seeing it on a releasedate list of a game shop here, but then suddenly it disappeared from the list =(
