If you want to use these (or any other images from my account), please re-upload them somewhere else yourself

I scanned all of these myself

Wow, nice collection.

Certainly better than what I could do; I was scanning the artwork from my CIMA: The Enemy manual and the scanner kept cutting off the tops of people's heads because it's a cheap one.

Instead of opening a new topic, I'll just use this one since it has barely any posts. In the time time that Lufia World Forum was offline, my Lufia collection grew and I've been able to some scan some lesser known artwork.

From the official Estpolis Handbook
Image
Official Lufia I Japanese artwork of Hero, Lufia, Jerin and Aguro

Image
Official Lufia I artwork for Maxim, Selan, Guy and Artea. I think this was interesting to see =)
The little boy is Lou, the man with moustache is Raile, and the other man is Roman.

Really loose translations of the first 2 comics: Anything I'm not sure of is in brackets and is mostly guessing)
Comic 1:
Notes: In the Japanese version, the stuffed animal that induces Sleep is a monkey instead of a pig.
Hero: With this we can (make monsters go to?) sleep?
Lufia: Kya~ kya~!
Hero: Now! (Throw the?) monkey!
Hero: Ah!
Lufia: ZZZzzzZZZ.

2nd comic:
Lufia's cinnamon tea and cinnamon pie are really delicious.
Hero: (I don't know what it says in that panel)
Hero: Hah
Lufia: (What are you looking at~)

From various Japanese Lufia II books

Lufia DS
Yeah... I went after Japanese Dengeki Games magazines just for Lufia DS articles and artwork =P

Weapon artwork

This would be handy for drawing reference or for cosplayers.

Tia and Dekar also have artwork like that but I forgot to scan it back then.

Selan. There's Tia artwork on the page next of this.

And for those interested this is the full page with comments about Tia and Selan by the staff. The bottom comment is from Masahide Miyata, the director and scenario writer.

This page with Tia artwork is on the right of the previous Selan artwork

Maxim and Gades

This was scanned from a small image =P

I like this series of side by side artwork =)

I agree. The artworks are fantastic. Especially the last 6, they're inspiring to me...

Glad you like them! All of the Lufia DS artwork from my previous post come from 5 issues of Dengeki Games.
It wasn't cheap to get the magazines O_0 Well, actually, the magazines were cheap (two of them even were 1 yen each), but the shipping wasn't! All of them were from Japanese Amazon, but they're all from different sellers, so 5x paying for shipping from Japan... yeah =P (Magazines total: 12 euro Shipping total: 68 Euro)

One of them has Maxim on the cover, I put that issue in my display case.

A video showing all the Lufia pages from the magazines I bought.

There are also a couple of interviews and lots of staff comments by Masahide Miyata (director/scenario), Naoyuki Ukeda (Main planner) and Hajime Kojima (producer). Lufia DS has been in development since June 2008 according to one of the interviews.

He does!

An ad for the Official Lufia I guide, which shows artwork of Aguro I haven't seen anywhere else. (I sure didn't pay "Only $9.95" for my guide =P)
Image

Here's a Lufia II ad... in Lufia I's Japanese guidebook. (the center looks weird because I didn't want to damage my book by pushing the scanner top any further)
Image

And Lufia II's guide book does the same with Lufia III.
