Best non-Lufia RPG...

Postby Imperial Dragon » Tue Jan 20, 2004 6:15 pm

What's your favorite RPG, besides any of the Lufia series? Mine are Breath of Fire II and I, in order of preference. Who knows, this could become a huge topic...

My most favorite RPG... that's a tuffy =\

but as far as series other than the Lufia series, it's probably the Breath of Fire series for me as well.

No one with Final Fantasy yet. I'm surprised! I figured there would have been one or two people who would have come with Final Fantasy by now.

Fine then...Final Fantasy 6 =P satisfied?
Then there's always Seiken Densetsu 3. I probably enjoyed SD3 more than FF6 but FF6 was like my first real RPG and I still play it...can't say the same for SD3

I never played SD3, mainly because SD3 never came out in North America, although I am playing S-SD (Sword of Mana).

1. Chrono Trigger (best storyline by far- Lufia II ending still beats it, though)
2. FFX/FFX-2 (great story twist at end, wonderful CGI-rendered scenes)
3. FFIII (FFVI in Japan) (story was good for SNES era)
4. Seiken Densetsu 3/Secret of Mana (aka Final Fantasy Adventure; Seiken Densetsu in Japan) (bland, but very well done for GB era; can't say same for the GBA iteration).

Did they release any English versions of it? Or was it Sword of Mana?
