Final Fantasy X

Postby Naminé » Mon Jan 05, 2004 12:49 am

Who's played this game?

I'm currently in Bevelle, inside the dungeon where you control Yuna and have to find all of your guradians (after you find out that the maesters of Yevon are all dead).

About 23 hours through now. Then I'll get to play FFX-2 once I'm finished. Yay! :D

It's an awsome game if you can spend the time to play it.

BTW, the cut scene in the Macalania Forest w/ Tidus & Yuna (I think you have to choose Yuna instead of Lulu to see it) is the best CGI FMV scene in the game (now I'm in Mt. Gagazat-----right before the Seymour battle-----joy.....).

I never managed to beat the end boss. I started it again however, and am training up a lot more than before.

The final boss battle is very, very easy. You'll have Auto-Life casted on all of your characters, and it will come back if you die. Simply put, you cannot lose, unless you went and petfiryed all of your characters.

Braska's Final Aeon, the 2nd to last boss, is a pain. Read a walkthrough on Gamefaqs.com. Trust me, you'll need it.

Braska's Final Aeon would be easy if the Yu Padogas weren't included in the battle.

BTW, be sure to use Tidus's "Talk" command during the second/third (I forgot which), when BFA is close to Overdrive (before he gets to attack again- that's probally where you were killed, Chris). Also, try to use Slowga on the Yu Pad.'s so they won't take turns right after each other (but be warned that they have a 50% of resisting Slowga).

Good luck!

BTW, the ending is very, very good. Quite a tear jearker (very much like the end of Lufia II, been waiting for someone to do that again!).

I can guess what the ending might be after starting FFX-2... if I remeber correctly, I think it was and overdrive that killed me? His second form maybe?

I belive it was the "Ultimate Jecht Shot", which should attack every one and kill them (unless you're using Auron or some Stamina Tablets on your characters).

The Jecht Shot is cool when you see TIDUS do it on 10. He does it on the SS anne ship thingy

braskas final aeon. maybe tough. well tougher then the last boss but i personaly think that he was nowhere as tough as the dark aeons or indeed nemisis. with the right combination of weaponary ie powered up superweapons ( for me i belive it was a combination of the masamune, wakka tidus and maybe rikkus) and stratagy ie useing talk to reduse limit gague. then braskas final aeon should not be too difficult to defeat.

I've never managed to defeat a dark aeon... I'm working on it! ;)
