Yeah! I heard that! I've not finished X-2 yet, so I'm not sure if they could continue the story.

The dream world? Erm... maybe they could make a prequel (you know, how Spira used to be technologically advanced before Sin)?

Well technically, the only reason Auron was able to go the the dream world of the fayth was by riding Sin after he was killed by Yunalesca.

And at the end of FFX, he sends himself to the Farplane, so I don't see how he could be able to return, since he wasn't a dream of the fayth (like Tidus & Jecht were).

Even if they did make a prequel to FFX/FFX-2, would Tidus be in it, since he wasn't really ever alive 1000 years ago? That's a question to think about.....

By a prequel, I meant something completely different to Tidus' and Yuna's stories. Perhaps something set before Sin?

I'm still not sure how Auron got a ride to the dream world on Sin... :P

Yeah, those sound like good ideas, though they never mentioned that Jecht was a dream of the fayth did they?

Although I think they did say that Jecht was a dream of the fayth, if Tidus was a dream, and since Jecht lived in the same world Tidus did (the dream of the fayth), wouldn't the same apply for Jecht.

Chris, I swore Auron said 'bout how he got to ride to the dream of the fayth after you defeated Yunalesca. I think it was because he had made a promise to Jecht to watch over Tidus...at least that's what I remember....'been at least 2 months since I played that game.....

I think you're right Alexia. I'm just not sure how he managed to actually 'ride' Sin... did he get on his back, get sucked up by Sin... or what? :P

MAybe, after the fight he was just there when sin was going though time and that's how he got there.

My guess is that Sin was near the bottom of Mt. Gagazet or the Calm Lands (Auron said he traveled down the mountain before he died), and he hitched a ride on Sin's back.

But alas, there was never a cut-scene for that, so we'll never know.

surely its more a metaphysical thing then a physical. what i am saying is tradationaly summon monsters enter battle and your party memebers normaly enters another dimention until the summon has occured. however in ffx they just move to the side i belive. and thus auraon may have just simply alowed himself to enter that dimention which is probibly the song of the faiths

Guessing by the opening scenes in Dream Zanarkand, I think Auron travelled by getting sucked up.
