Phantasy Star Online Episode I+II is the GameCube's only online game right now. Phantasy Star Online Episode III is coming soon, but that's it as far as online gaming goes. Nintendo seem to have little or no interest in it.

and yet the Cube seems to be the most readily compatible. I had to buy a 56k USB fax modem to play THPS3 online with my PS2 because online gaming seemed to be trying to come alive via the game developers as opposed to sony (who released their modem over a year later).

another thing I've noticed is that strictly Cube owners seem to have less interest in online gaming as compared to die hard PC or PS gamers. could just be coincidence but I'll chalk it up to conspiracy.
