Well not really. They have all the same pokemon All of the pokemon. Except you are going to have to trade some pokemon. You can trade between Ruby and Sapphire and Pokemon Colisseum.

Speaking of which... I got my hands on Colluseum yesterday and already started breezing through battles with my Ruby team. It's all good fun, although I'm already lost in Story mode. lol

Colliseum is pretty fun. I got it with the bonus Jirachi disk though. :P : P

I've played some Pokémon for quite a while now. I have nearly all the Pokémon games.

For the original GB/GBC, I have - Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold and Silver.

For the N64, I have Pokémon Snap and Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2.

As for GBA, I've got Sapphire and Leaf Green.

Now about my Pokémon in Silver. I have alot of the critters around levels 75-100! My most prized are my two Vaporeons, and my Starmie & Electabuzz.

My Starmie & Electabuzz were both level 80 and kicked the asses of the level 100 rentals, Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Meganium, Typhlosion and Feraligatr. That has to be the best memory ever. :)

What are your teams for the classic Red, Blue or yellow?

Pokemon Red:

Pidgeot LV 51
Gengar LV 51
Alakazam LV 51
Vileplume LV 52
Golem LV 51
Electrode LV 52

Pokemon Gold:

Ampharos LV 50
Wobbuffet LV 47
Feraligatr LV 50
Golem LV 50
Fearow LV 49
Slowbro LV 49

I made a party to beat the most basic types of pokemon. Unfortunately, I don't know anybody else who has and likes it, so I don't battle by Link Cable very often. My sis has Pokemon Crystal, but her party levels are about 15 levels lower... :(

My cousin got Pokémon Emerald. I didn't get to see any of the new features or anything like that, except for the battle tents along the road, but he's gotten himself well into the game methinks. As for myself, I have...

Pokémon Red:
(x = any number from 0-9. I don't remember every pokemon's exact level.)
Charizard lv. 6x
Pidgeot lv. 52
Raichu lv. 90
Dugtrio lv. 100
Mewtwo lv. 7x
Poliwrath lv. 5x

I first beat the E4 with all these pokemon (minus Mewtwo, which I caught with an Ultra Ball cause I wasted my Master Ball) around level 52. Because of my E4 strategy with this team, though, it's become heavily unbalanced through my multiple playthroughs.)

Pokémon Gold:

Typhlosion lv. 90
Weepinbell lv. 89
Lugia lv. 90 (Nicknamed Lufia XD)
Gyrados (Shiny) lv. 89
Kingler lv. 89
Mew (hacked) lv. 95

The only big discrepency here is the hacked Mew. My friend sharked one for me back in our heavy Pokémon days and traded it to my red version. I brought it over to Gold just to give Lance the boot. (Because I had Lance's last pokemon (his lv. 50 Dragonite) down to a hair when he beat me. I just loaded Mew up with ice-type moves and wailed on him. :P

Pokémon FireRed:

Charizard lv. 61
Raichu lv. 61
Dugtrio lv. 61
Pidgeot lv. 61
Poliwrath lv. 61
Mewtwo lv. 70

Look familiar? My FR team is EXACTLY the same as my Red team. This is because I wanted to mimic exactly what my Red team was like (since this was a R/B remake) and just... relive it. Of course, the sixth spot (now occupied by Mewtwo) was variable througout the game, but I used Articuno in that spot to propel me through the E4, which I beat with my team around lv. 50. (It wasn't easy, though.)

How many of you use Missingno on your Red & Blue games? Admit it...

Well, I have at some times, but not for the Rare Candy. I use it to get more PP Ups. I don't like to use Rare Candies all the time because of how weak they become at level 100 compared to Pokémon raised to level 100.

Although I may experiement on this some time later on my Red game...

I've never used the missingno glitch. It's not worth risking your save file for.

There is a Missingno that does not corrupt your save file / game, I believe.

I dunno. Most pokémon glitches that I've ever heard of come with the danger of corrupting or erasing your save AFAIK.

Oh yeah, I called myself Amon in POkemon Silver. (I almost forgot that I have that game because I haven't really played other GB(C) games than Lufia TLR)

My sis called her rival Ganon in Poke Crystal :?

As for Missigno, I've used it once on a past save file, but that was like three save files ago. I'm not using it anymore (I used it once to get all 150 pokemon (excluding Mew))
